Product Overview

The DX-B351PL and DX-B52P are two of the latest devices in the Sharp black-and-white printer lineup. Both printers are intended for home and small offices that need an efficient system but doesn’t require color output. The DX-B351PL and DX-B351P prints at up to 35 ppm and includes a two-line LCD display, automatic duplexing, PCL, PostScript and direct PDF printing features. USB and Ethernet connectivity is standard.

The DX-B351PL comes with a 350 MHz processor and 256 MB of memory. Its first-print-out time is approximately 8.5 seconds. On the other hand, the DX-B352P has a 600 MHz processor, 256 MB of memory, standard wireless connectivity, mobile printing and up to two optional 550-sheet drawers.

Both printers are compact to fit in tight spaces and include a one-step installation process. IT users can change the print language, power settings and more via the keypad.

Features

Paper handling varies with the two printers. The DX-B351PL has a 250-sheet drawer and a single-sheet bypass tray for a maximum of 251 sheets. The DX-B352P starts with a 250-sheet drawer and a 60-sheet bypass tray. Additionally, companies can add up to two 550-sheet trays as an option for a total capacity of 1,410 sheets. Each drawer or tray accommodates up to 8.5″ x 14″ (legal-sized) paper. The monthly duty cycle is 25,000 pages on the DX-B351PL and 80,000 pages on the DX-B52P.

In addition to duplexing, printing features include toner save mode, power save mode, electronic sorting, N-up printing, image rotation, watermarks and driver delivery functions. The printer also has accessibility features like beep sounds on key entry, adjustment of key touch sounds and screen timeout disable.

Finally, the DX-B352P includes an all-in-one toner/drum cartridge system.
