Profitbase is a modern business intelligence (BI) solution that offers user-friendly tools relevant to industries like manufacturing, retail and distribution.

The Profitbase suite allows business leaders and non-IT users to easily merge information from multiple data sources and discover key insights quickly. Profitbase has three main components included in its suite:

1. Dashboards and reporting (Profitbase InFront)
2. Data warehousing (Profitbase Studio)
3. Financial planning (Profitbase InVision)

Dashboards & Reports

Profitbase InFront is a web-based dashboards and reporting tool. With an intuitive interface, InFront allows users to access and drill down into key information without relying on IT. Some features include:

• Flexible data visualization filters to display information in tabular reports, charts or trends
• Data drill-down tools
• Customizable reports and KPIs

Data Warehousing

Studio is Profitbase’s data warehousing tool. It automates extract, transform and load (ETL) processes to make data mart, data warehouse and OLAP Cube deployments quick and easy.

With drag-and-drop menus and templates, Studio uses Microsoft’s scalable technology to automatically create ETL processes. Key benefits include:

• Centralized locations for all key information
• A historical repository for discontinued systems
• Automatic data refresh

Implementation/Integration

Through a Discover, Design and Deliver process, Profitbase works with customers to find the best methods for implementation. Three implementation options are available, based on the customer’s resources and expertise:

1. Profitbase deploys the solution for the customer and maintains the system through support.
2. Profitbase deploys the solution, and trains users on system features and functionality.
3. Profitbase trains users to deploy and maintain the solution themselves. With this option, Profitbase will provide support when necessary.
