Skillport is a learning management portal for users to complete assigned training while exploring additional learning materials. The platform has access to Skillsoft’s catalog of more than 40,000 multimedia content items, including books, videos, courses, learning portals, articles and more.

Search & discovery – The Skillport platform offers seven learning administration features: quick links, recently viewed, see what’s new, view learning plan, browse the library, visit community and the to-do list. These options help employees navigate the course catalog and manage their learning materials and deadlines. Users can search through the catalog of materials based on topic, role, function and more.
Learning administration: Employees can launch and organize training courses and content assigned by the company, as well as the content they’ve assigned themselves to complete. A status indicator for each course allows users to easily see the progress of training.
Social learning & collaboration: The community page of the Skillport platform is a social and collaborative tool where users can view and make comments on specific learning materials, recommend content items and follow subject matter experts within their organization.
Learning app: Skillsoft’s learning app gives users access to training materials, wherever they are. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices, and it has all the features of the cloud-based platform.
