My Custom Event is a feature-rich multi-modular solution that touches on many software categories. For the purposes of this review, we’ve focused on the strengths relevant to the Learning Management System (LMS) portion of this product.
As an all-in-one solution, My Custom Event includes eCommerce , Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Time Sheet Tracking, and Email Campaign Management with the ability to consolidate all kinds of data for organizing and registering users. For example, users can register for an in person training event, create notes such as food preferences and allergies if the event includes dinner, or optionally purchase additional materials related to the training event.
The architecture of My Custom Event is highly configurable so that as a learning management solution, organizers are able to manage and deliver a vast library of content to a highly flexible amount of individual learners. The system is also able to consolidate business contacts, sales leads, customer purchases, shipping management, staff management, and much more with a close focus on learner planning and executing any event.
When delivering content in eCommerce mode, administrators are able to create a simple or sophisticated registration for an accounts to complete and then accept e-payments. Rather than integrating with a third party solution such as Shoppify, My Custom Event is PCI Level 1 Compliant for allowing secure online payments within the system. This includes the ability to issue gift cards and coupons.
When it comes to registering event attendees and course learners, My Custom Event makes it simple to reserve a spot and purchase at check-out. Fields can be configured so that “add to cart” could instead be labeled “sign-up” or “Attachment” can instead be “handout.”

My Custom Event is able to have the solution running almost immediately with an implementation service called “Fast Track.” This service offers a gateway, payment set up, custom website themes, a training platform for the client’s users, and priority customer support.
Another service is for My Custom Event’s website design team to update the client’s existing website or create a new one through WordPress. This service also offers training for clients to manage their own content, or additional services to help support the site after it’s been built.

My Custom Event has a manned customer support team that can be reached either through a ticketing system, instant chat, screen share, or video chat with real-time walkthroughs. The support team is consistent with helping users new to managing enterprise systems as well.
Shortcomings
The full My Custom Event package has a tremendous number of features and may lead to a steep learning curve when implementing the entire platform all at once. Advanced users are easily able to tackle the system for all of their learning management, event management and eCommerce needs, but if the user has no technology experience they will require more personalize support fully utilize the feature sets to prevent feeling overwhelmed.
