Product Overview
ADP provides a variety of solutions tailored specifically to organization size. We will briefly talk about each software:
Small Businesses (under 50 employees) – ADP offers the RUN Small Business Solution. Not only does this product help small businesses with payroll and tax compliance, but it also helps with other HR functions, such as recruiting. A few features of this product include background checks, creation of job descriptions, and creation of employee handbooks. It also integrates with other software, such as accounting, and it can be accessed via any mobile device. For small businesses that don’t have the in-house resources to handle day-to-day HR functions, there is the ADP TotalSource and ADP Resource. ADP Resource handles all the HR and administration functions, while ADP TotalSource handles the administrative side and allows organizations to focus on managing their employees.
Mid Sized Businesses (50-999 employees) – For midsized organizations, there is the ADP WorkForce Now, which is a complete HCM platform. This solution is beneficial to not just HR, but business owners and finance as well – WorkForce Now can be helpful with other business functions, such as business intelligence. WorkForce Now also help companies comply with tax and healthcare regulations, manage payroll and time & attendance, and encourage employee wellness. And as adhering to employment, tax, healthcare, and payroll compliance is extremely important for midsized and large companies, ADP offers the SmartCompliance solution that works with other systems, such as SAP, Kronos, Workday, and Oracle. Some of its features include W2 management, employment claims, and wage garnishments. Finally, ADP TotalSource service is offered to midsized businesses in addition to small business.
Enterprise Businesses (1,000+ employees) – ADP Vantage HCM is a unified platform for large companies – it covers all features from payroll to benefits administration to recruiting to talent management. It is a cost-efficient and time-efficient system for companies as they don’t have to worry about working with each single system – and IT only has to manage one platform.

Shortcomings
Users have reported that the online registration, login, and password reset process have been tedious and not user friendly (i.e. not allowing long passwords).
