GnosisConnect LMS At A Glance
Product Overview
GnosisConnect LMS is a cloud-based system designed to help companies train their employees. It can be used for various training purposes, such as sales, leadership development, new products, onboarding and adhering to regulatory compliance.
Hosted on the Amazon cloud server, GnosisConnect is available anytime, anywhere, including on mobile devices.
GnosisConnect has several benefits. The solution has an intuitive and clean user interface. Since it’s based in the cloud, companies won’t need to host or maintain data. Plus, as a company’s workforce changes, GnosisConnect allows it to scale up or down.
GnosisConnect offers a monthly or yearly subscription based on the number of users. For instance, a company with 100 users can expect to pay $299 a month (or $2,990 a year). The subscription includes all features, unlimited file uploads, unlimited course storage, a platform/dashboard with company branding, and free email support.
For larger companies, the vendor offers the GnosisConnect Enterprise platform. In addition to the features available in the other plans, the Enterprise platform provides a more customized approach and allows for integration with a company’s internal systems.
Features
We’ve indicated some of the common features of GnosisConnect in the checkboxes below. However, we also want to point out that the solution has four role-based levels: admin, division head, manager and learner. Each role has a specific set of features.
Admins can manage subscriptions and track learner results companywide by accessing universal reports. The division head can create courses (and assign managers and learners to them), create a training schedule and send training updates. Managers can set automatic learner paths (specifying what courses employees need to take), accept/deny training requests from employees, and send messages to individual learners or groups. And finally, learners are able to access all course content, complete assessments, view grades/certificates, and request specific training.
Other features of GnosisConnect include:
- Blended learning support
- Built-in reporting templates that track learners’ progress
- Customized training programs for specific groups of users
- Ability to upload content in unlimited file formats (SCORM, images, video, etc.)
- In lieu of an authoring tool, GnosisConnect partners with OpenSesame for access to thousands of off-the-shelf courses
- Forums for social interaction among users in order to help increase engagement
- Certificates given to employees for course completion
